Would you like to taste typical local products and wines?
We can organize visits to the winery in Bolgheri and nearby municipalities, even in the low season: you will be able to taste the excellent products of our area and be guided to learn about the history of our landscape, up to the genuine dishes of our food and wine tradition.
It will also be an opportunity to visit the nearby villages rich in history: such as Bibbona, gem of the Val di Cecina, with its fascinating medieval centre, full of typical restaurants; Bolgheri, with its Viale dei Cipressi, which makes it famous all over the world, but also the artisan shops, where you can buy unique gifts to take home.
O Castagneto Carducci, nestled on a hill, is surrounded by the wonderful Tuscan countryside. The village of medieval origins takes its name from the famous poet who spent the happiest months of his childhood here. Castagneto develops around the imposing medieval castle, which is located at the highest and most panoramic point of the town.
Among villages, rows, pine forests and sunny beaches, you can also admire the contemporary architecture of wineries such as Petra, designed by the architect Mario Botta and Rocca di Frassinello, designed by the famous architect Renzo
The Bolgheri Oasis
Our campsite in Marina di Bibbona is a 5-minute drive from the Bolgheri Oasis: the first Italian WWF oasis, since 1966. However, its history begins before that: it was in fact 1959 when the Marquis Incisa della Rocchetta created this beautiful oasis private wildlife.
It is a natural paradise, among freshwater ponds, woods and many animals to discover.
Walk, breathe and look around, be quiet and look for the lark, the swallow, or the sea jay among the trees.
In the Mediterranean scrub, among its intricate branches, wild boars, porcupines, martens, roe deer, fallow deer, hedgehogs and foxes find refuge.
Have you ever seen them live? Nature is the most beautiful spectacle you can witness.
Since 2008, a pair of white storks who have chosen the Bolgheri Oasis as their home have also nested.

Etruscan Coast: visits to the nearest seaside villages
Il Gineprino, thanks to its excellent position, allows you to reach the beaches of the Etruscan Coast in just a few minutes, such as Baratti, San Vincenzo, Marina di Castagneto, Cecina.
Furthermore, the main embarkations for the Island of Elba and the other islands of the Tuscan archipelago (Piombino and Livorno) are also very convenient to reach, or you can go to the brand new Tourist Port of Cala dei Medici in Rosignano.
